Mining minnows drill on despite crisis
The Australian
Globe Metals and Mining (GBE) has reported significant niobium, tantalum and uranium results from infill drilling in the highgrade Milenje zone in its Kanyika Deposit in central Malawi.
The infill drilling was designed to upgrade the JORC category of the 14 million tonnes high-grade, near-surface component of the 56mt inferred resource, announced in March.
One of the drill holes intersected the highest grades ever to be encountered at Kanyika, a multi-commodity deposit that includes niobium, uranium, tantalum and zircon). The three drill holes reported tested the continuity of very high grade mineralisation in the northern part of the Milenje zone.
Globe said the results showed excellent continuity of very highgrade mineralisation and geology, confirming the robust nature of this rich part of the deposit.
Shares in GBE are at 15c.
