Globe Metals & Mining (ASX: GBE) has announced results from the first phase of the 2008 drilling program at its wholly-owned Livingstonia Uranium Project in Malawi.

Uranium mineralisation has been identified over a wide area of at least 600m by 500m at Chombe, open in multiple directions. Best results include 8.1m at 644ppm eU3O8 including 3.1m at 806ppm eU3O8; and 11.7m at 283ppm eU3O8 including 2.2m at 677ppm eU3O8.
